A campaign to promote upcycling and prevent unnecessary dumping

Don’t Dump Series

According to the World Bank report, 33 per cent of the world practices open dumping of waste — a popular practice in South Asia. In India, it noted, “77% of waste is disposed of in open dumps, 18% is composted and just 5% is recycled”.

“Don’t Dump Series”, to promote repair, reuse and upcycling of products and prevent unnecessary dumping and polluting the environment.

The series will be dwelling upon each distinct topic every month for example, food & floral waste, paper waste, fabrics & garments waste, electronics & IT waste, plastic waste, chemical waste and medical waste, etc.

#EcosystemRestoration

The Environment Beckons

The world population of 7.7 billion people represent just 0.01 percent of all living beings. Yet since the dawn of civilization, humanity has caused the loss of 83% of all wild mammals and half of all plants. This coupled with growing industrialization and consumerism has lead to Climate Change which has created havoc and is resulting in wild fires, droughts, melting of icebergs, floods, pollution, diseases and what not.

Let’s restore the ecosystem before the damage becomes irreversible.  We have very less time and too much to do, let’s start NOW.

Shower Love on Mother Earth

Do you know the World could run out of rain forests in 2100, food in 2050, fish in 2048 and water in 2040? The way the World is consuming, we would soon need two planets to satisfy our needs.
